Pete Seeger Yay!

  • Listening to: Pete Seeger songs in my head
  • Reading: Inuyasha
Hi... :juggle: Yesterday, I went with my parents and some of their friends to go see the Pete Seeger concert in San Francisco. :sing: I had a lot of fun and the music they played there was really beautiful. Not only was there Pete Seeger, their was a band called Way Back, who I thought were really good, Pete's grandson, who was just like a younger version of him, :clone: John Steinbeck's grandson and his wife who is, as it so happens, Woody Guthrie's granddaughter and their two kids. They all sang and performed really wonderfully, and all their songs were really sweet. :blushes: The songs Pete Seeger sang were amazing because of his own special nature. More than he is just a singer, he is one who inspires others to sing as well, as you could tell with all the people on stage singing and all the people in the audience singing as well. His songs were incredible, and they all had great meanings, which reminds me of another song, [link] As a friend of mine, :icongadoink1: would say, ":iconimhappyplz:. I was so happy, and a little teary when the concert ended. :happycry: I can still remember those songs now. My favorite of all the songs he sang was, "Turn, turn, turn." :tunes: It's an amazing song, and if you don't enjoy it, the you're probably a nazi, and if you're a nazi, then you are a bad person and should probably go crawl under a rock and be sorry for yourself. Those songs made me so happy, I just wanted to share it with everyone else. :eager: I hope his songs can inspire the world to be just a little bit better. :earth:
